Don’t know what the hell those things are? I didn’t either, until Jared introduced me to the delicious soup dumplings and pork-filled dough balls in one of the busiest locales in Hong Kong: Causeway Bay.
Jared’s pretty much a pro at all things Chinese. Just look at that form.
What I learned from my first Chinese meal:
1) I can’t hold heavy things with chop sticks. I may need to bulk up my hand muscles…Or, arthritis is creeping in prematurely.
2) Chinese waiters don’t like to give you ice water…even after five requests
3) Pork. Is. Good.
After dinner we strolled around “Times Square” in Causeway Bay, home of the largest mall I’ve ever seen and very, shall we say unique?, landscape architecture (which Jared models for us below).
